Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. If you use the Service in connection with sports wagering of any kind, you must be at least the minimum legal betting age in your jurisdiction (21 in most US states).

The Service is directed at users in jurisdictions where sports analytics content is lawful. You are solely responsible for compliance with local laws. Residents of jurisdictions where sports wagering is prohibited (e.g., Utah, Hawaii) may access the statistical content but not use it to facilitate wagering.

Dunk Ladder is a sports analytics and information service. We:

• Track publicly observable NBA events (dunks).
• Compute statistical aggregations and derived metrics.
• Provide probability estimates via statistical models.

We are not:

• A sportsbook. We never accept, broker, or facilitate wagers.
• Registered investment advisers. Nothing on this site is financial or investment advice.
• A gambling advice service. Our statistical outputs are not picks, locks, or recommendations to wager.
• Affiliated with the NBA, NBA Properties Inc., WB Games (“NBA Jam”), Midway, or any professional basketball team. All third-party trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

Predictions, probabilities, and model outputs (“Predictions”) are generated from statistical methods applied to historical and real-time data. Predictions are probabilistic estimates and carry inherent uncertainty. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You acknowledge that:

• Any use of Predictions to inform wagering decisions is at your sole risk.
• We make no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, timeliness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any Prediction.
• We are not liable for any losses, direct or consequential, arising from reliance on the Service.

Real-time and historical NBA event data is sourced from Sportradar AG under a commercial license. You may view, analyze, and reference the data through our Service. You may not:

• Scrape or systematically extract raw event data from the Service.
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense data obtained from the Service, including via our public API, in a form that competes with Sportradar's licensed distribution.
• Use automated tools to circumvent rate limits or access controls.

Our public API exposes our processed and aggregated outputs — not raw third-party feeds. API users are bound by the rate limits and usage terms published at /api/docs.

You may create an account to access enhanced features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

Paid subscriptions (“Sharp”) are billed monthly via Stripe at the rate disclosed at checkout. You may cancel at any time through your account dashboard or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are at our discretion, generally issued only for technical failures on our part.

We may, from time to time, include links to third-party sportsbooks, daily fantasy platforms, or related products. Some of these links may be affiliate links, meaning we receive a commission if you sign up or deposit through them, at no additional cost to you. When a link is an affiliate link, we will disclose this adjacent to the link per FTC guidelines.

Our editorial content and model outputs are not influenced by affiliate relationships. We will not alter a prediction to favor an affiliated operator.

• Using the Service to violate any law or regulation.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or protected endpoints (e.g., /admin).
• Uploading or transmitting malware, scripts, or content that disrupts the Service.
• Using the Service to harass, harm, or defraud others.
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the Service, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.

All content on the Service — including software, prediction models, aggregated statistics, original articles, and pixel-art illustrations — is the property of Dunk Ladder or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the content for personal, non-commercial use.

The “retro arcade” visual style is original work inspired by late-1990s sports-game aesthetics; it is not a reproduction of any specific third-party game and is not affiliated with Midway, WB Games, or the “NBA Jam” franchise.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DUNK LADDER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR LOSSES SUSTAINED FROM WAGERING DECISIONS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
